Contacting Emergency Psychiatric Services

The Nationwide Children's Hospital Intranet includes a schedule of on call pagers for various departments. This page provides overview instructions for sending a text message/page to an "on call" individual.

Steps

1. The bottom portion of this page includes the "On Call Schedule" from the Intranet (also available using ths link: http://chisdcweb10/oncall/viewOnCall.asp)
2. From the "On Call Schedule", select the "Show All Departments" link.
3. Select the "PSYCHIATRY" department's link to display the list of individuals that can be paged.
4. Click on the pager icon () next to the individual you wish to page.
5. On the window that appears, type your text message (typically including your name and phone number).
6. Click the "Enter" button to send your message. NOTE: If this procedure does not work as expected, contact the hospital operator at 614-722-2000 and ask the operator to page On Call Psychiatry.
