The Nook Color remains Barnes & Noble's electronic reader with reading e-books. The Nook runs any trimmed-down variation of the Android operating system. This gives the Nook Color access to the Android Market to download games such as "Angry Birds." This free of charge game is based on the concept of throwing birds at blocks to attempt to knock it down. The "Angry Birds" game remains free to set up on your Nook Color, but you may also purchase any upgraded version that is is advert-free of charge.

Instructions

1 Tap the "Menu" button, then tap the "Extras" button. Open the "Marketplace" application.

3 Type the words "Angry Birds" into the search box. Click the "Search" button on your keyboard; it also has any magnifying glass on it.

4 Tap on the "Angry Birds" application.

5 Press the "Install" key at the bottom about the screen.

7 Tap the "Menu" button, then tap the "Extras" button. The "Angry Birds" application is now in your programs list.
