Choose the proper trolling apparatus. The best trolling rods are 7-feet long and have a medium to heavy action. Attach to the rod any baitcasting reel spooled by way of 8- to 1 internet site-pound monofilament series. The lighter the series, the deeper the lure will operate.
Choose on a lure with trolling. The most productive lures to largemouth bass are crankbaits. These baits are shaped for example fish, also have plastic bills on the the front. The longer the bill, the deeper the bait dives. The wider the bill, the more side-to-side wobble it has. Some crankbait along with lots of wiggle often is best in warm-weather months. The contrary is accurate when the drinking water is cold.
Link the crankbait to the line using any Palomar knot (find out Resources).
Find areas on which to troll. Concentrate especially on weedlines plus drop-offs. A fish finder yous helpful in locating and following these areas.
Troll among particular and pair miles-per-hour along the edges of drop-offs, humps, reefs and weedlines. Pull your rod tip forward from spare time to moment. This lead to the bait to dart onward, and could provoke any strike from a nearby bass.
Troll until you catch any largemouth bass. Troll through the region a second time. If you catch another fish, mark the spot and kill the motor. Cast your crankbait through the area, or tie on some jig or plastic worm.
