Revive the iPod's operating system (firmware) if it has become nonresponsive.

1 Download and put in the newest variation of iTunes from Apple.

2 Launch iTunes plus connect the iPod to your computer along with the included USB wire.

3 Select your iPod from iTune's sidebar. Click the "Summary" tab.

4 Click "Revive" and confirm the action. iTunes will start downloading the latest variation regarding the iPod firmware plus employ it to the iPod. A progress bar will display on screen plus on the iPod as it is being restored.

5 Set up the iPod in iTunes. Once the restore completes, the iPod will reappear in iTune's sidebar like some brand new iPod. Name the iPod and sync your media.
