A fat quarter is made via initial cutting a yard about fabric in half, next cutting the 1/2-yard in half again through the middle. The end result remains a square, or slightly oblong area about fabric that measures roughly 18 by 22 inches.

Lay the backing sheet from flat with its right part facing down, line awake the batting on top of the backing sheet, then place the cover top with its appropriate part upwards, on top of the batting. Pin all the layers collectively with security pins, beginning away from the center and functioning away towards the sides.

7 Sew diagonal lines across the quilt, intersecting each rectangular, on the sewing machine. Change the quilt also stitch diagonal lines on the opposite route to create a diamond quilting effect on the quilt surface.

8 Machine stitch bias binding around the edge of the the front about the quilt, then fold the binding to the back regarding the quilt and finish by means of turn using whip stitch.
